Swedish Built Tralaren Sailing Ketch.

Long Keel with deep V forward and canoe stern. Built 1980.
   Length over Deck 8.75m, 9.5m with Bowsprit. LWL 8.2m. Beam 3.05m.  Draft 1.10m  Disp. 7,900 lbs.
  

Swedish built to high quality this rare Motorsailer is built to traditional standards. a fine safe cruising yacht that sails well along with offering warmth and comfort.
White GRP hull with canoe stern and raised teak gunwale, chain bobstay to teak bowsprit. Attractive GRP hull and superstructure in white, sheerline red with white centre line and yellow boot top. Under waterline protected with Hempels High project in 1999 which remains in excellent condition.

"Josefine" has accommodation for six in three cabins, a forecabin converting to a double, with hatch, reading lights and shelves. The separate aft cabin with double berth and side windows. All upholstery, Carpets and Curtains fitted new in 2004. There is also a spacious wheelhouse that seats five, giving full 360 degree vision and fitted with modern instrumentation including Radar and colour Chart Plotter.

On the water "Josefine" is sea kindly and when sprayhood is enclosing rear of wheel house, dry in all weathers. A Wallas 1800 heater along with fan blown heat from engine adds to the comfort in cold weather. The Engine is a new Perkins 4.236 4 cylinder 80 hp Diesel with less that 70 hours running.
With much new equipment and generally very well maintained this is an excellent craft.

This yacht is a comfortable and powerful sea-going motorsailer.
