Southerly 28 Sailing Sloop
Built by Northshore Yachts of Chichester in 1980, Lifting Keel.
The
Southerly 28 has renown seaworthy qualities and with her lifting keel combine
to provide a really go-anywhere yacht, Cavatina is in
great condition and
one of the last of this popular class to be built. She has the benefit of Tiller
steering from the cockpit or Wheel steering below.
Her comfortable and spacious interior layout is complimented by home comforts
including pressurized hot and cold water and warm air heating.
A well proven seagoing yacht in Superb Condition

equally at home on long sea-going passages or cruising Rivers or even some Canals
has proved to be comfortable and most capable.
Meticulously maintained and professionally epoxied in 2002 she is in excellent
condition, confirmed by a superb recent survey. Recent improvements include
all new Dodgers, Zip-top sailcover with lazyjacks, new window covers and has
been completley re-upholstered internally in gold figured Dralon.
The Cockpit is deep and well protected.

Mechanically
Cavatina is in excellent and reliable order, her Bukh 20 Engine fully serviced
in Novenber 2006 and fitted with stainless steel shaft, water lubricated so
requires no greaser. 3 blade bronze propeller fitted with rope cutter.
